I graduated from the University of California, Riverside in 2013 with a major in Creative Writing and a minor in Theatre. One of my passions will always be science fiction. The first science fiction book I had ever read was in fifth grade and it was I, Robot by Isaac Asimov. Since then, I have read all of Isaac Asimov’s books and short stories (even his Treasury of Humor). After exhausting Asimov, I moved on to Arthur C. Clarke, H.G. Wells and other “classic” writers before working my way to modern writers. I have always been a fan of writing and philosophy. From fiction classes taught by Chris Abani, Nalo Hopkinson, and Michael Jayme to non-fiction classes taught by Mike Davis, Charmaine Craig, and Reza Aslan. I would top my schedule off with a philosophy class focusing on either Existentialism or Moral Philosophy to contribute to my growth as a writer in science fiction. My love for science fiction is the only thing tied with my love of point-and-click adventure games. I believe that these games can be the perfect blend of story-telling and game design.
